ADMISSION TO FOSTER - UW FOSTER SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
Since I dropped my engineering major in spring of last year, I have been working to apply to the Foster School of Business. Getting the acceptance letter was an extremely exciting moment. To get accepted, I had to take many rigorous business classes - including accounting, economics, and business law. I was nervous that I was not going to get in and doubted my decision to drop engineering many times. I struggled with Imposter Syndrome and feeling inadequate as a result of the competitive major system at UW. Getting into Foster was validating and I am very excited to conclude my studies at UW as a marketing major.

ACCEPTANCE LETTER
SHANIA TWAIN CONCERT & ARTICLE - THE DAILY

I signed up to write a Daily article on the Shania Twain concert at the Climate Pledge Arena this quarter. I particularly enjoyed the venue, as Climate Pledge is filled with many areas suitable for socializing and eating.
Although I attended the concert alone, it was a fun night filled with glittery cowboy hats and boots. Shania Twain has always been an artist special to my heart, and it was amazing to see her live and in her element. I was able to reflect on the experience in my article, and even offer some critiques of the show.
The experience made me appreciate being a member of the school newspaper, as I was able to attend free of charge in exchange for my writing of the article. I
also enjoyed going through the revision process to craft a polished article that could be shared with the greater UW community.
FINAL DELIVERABLE - BUSINESS IMPACT GROUP
During winter quarter, I served as a member of the Business Impact Group's Business Research Program. That prepared me to join BIG as a consultant for the spring. We worked alongside Aloha Vision Painting to brainstorm solutions for the problems the small business was facing. We proposed several different strategies to help Aloha Vision Painting increase profits and cut costs. These included things like promoting a strong job offer to attract new candidates,

applying for financial grants and establishing profitable partnerships, and joining communities and utilize financial management tools for networking and increasing efficiency. Overall, I enjoyed working with my team and applying the skills I had acquired both in class and through the program to make tangible impact.
