STARCLAW SHARK TANK PROJECT - MKTG 301
Upon gaining admission to Foster, I found myself at a crossroads, contemplating whether to major in marketing or finance. Given the constraints of time with only a few quarters remaining in college, I decided on marketing. My first marketing course, MKTG 301 with Professor Ali Goli, set the stage for my journey into this career.
Our assignment for the quarter involved conceptualizing a new product for an existing company. My team embarked on the challenge, ultimately selecting StarClaw: an innovative alcoholic seltzer born from the collaboration between Starbucks and White Claw. Engaging in this project was an exhilarating experience, enabling me to flex my creative muscles, delve deeper into the intricacies of marketing, and forge invaluable connections within my team.
One particular highlight was crafting the distinctive StarClaw logo, a task that allowed me to showcase my artistic flair using my iPad, as depicted in the accompanying image on the right.

TRUMP CARE POLICIES PRESENTATION - HON 231

HON 231, Interrogating the Influence of "Western Civilization" on Care, marked the culmination of my Honors program requirements. Frankly, this course didn't resonate with me. I found the assignment instructions convoluted, struggled with the professor's teaching style, and felt disengaged from the subject matter. However, amidst the dissatisfaction, there was one assignment that left a lasting impact: The Trump Care Policies Presentation.
As a self-professed liberal with a strong opposition to Donald Trump's candidacy and persona, I embarked on this presentation with skepticism. Yet, delving into Trump's policies concerning foster children and parents revealed a nuanced perspective. Despite my limited political knowledge, I found the experience enlightening and surprisingly meaningful. It brought to light some of the positive impacts under his presidency, especially regarding foster children and parents.
ARMENIA COUNTRY ANALYSIS PROJECT - I BUS 300
I BUS was another class I did not particularly enjoy. The topics we covered were undoubtedly important for a career in international business, however I struggled on the tests. It was frustrating to continuously put my best effort into studying and then not perform as well as I usually do. I did enjoy our final project, which was an Armenia Country Analysis. For this project, we were tasked with choosing an existing company to sell their a product in a foreign market they had not yet entered. My group chose Kim Kardashian's shape wear - SKIMS - to enter into Armenia. It was a fun project and I especially enjoyed working with my group, whom I hope to remain friends with for the rest of college.
